The so-called fourth wave, which appeared at the end of August 2021, began to visibly decrease in the second half of September. The forecast for Slovenia was a significant decline in infections, as shown by the green line. This was also in line with what was happening in Europe. In the last week, things have turned unexpectedly. Today’s forecast is much more pessimistic, as shown by the red line. A similar phenomenon is seen in some other European countries. There is a possibility of a partial lock-down.
